This study aimed to identify the degree to which school principals in the Ajloun Governorate Directorate of Education practice electronic leadership competencies, from the point of view of their teachers. The study adopted a descriptive survey approach and used a questionnaire to collect data after verifying its validity and reliability. The study population comprised all teachers in schools affiliated with the Ajloun Directorate of Education, and the sample consisted of 415 male and female teachers selected using an available random sampling method during the 2022/2023 academic year. The results indicated that, from the teachers’ perspective, the degree of principals’ practice of electronic leadership competencies was high. The findings also showed no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) in the degree of principals’ practice of these competencies attributable to gender, years of experience, or academic qualification. The study recommends developing the role of school principals in promoting the values of digital citizenship among teachers, students, parents, and the local community, given its importance for preparing future generations and fostering responsible, ethical use of technology. It further recommends designing training programs, educational courses, and workshops for teachers and parents to introduce electronic leadership competencies and highlight their role in protecting individuals and society, and in addressing current and future problems intensified by the use of digital technologies.
