Abstract

This study aimed to identify the degree to which secondary school principals in Irbid Governorate practice their tasks in accordance with Islamic administrative thought from the teachers' point of view. The study adopted a relational descriptive approach, and the researchers prepared a questionnaire to measure the degree of practice of Islamic administrative thought among school principals, consisting of three areas. The total population of secondary school teachers in Irbid Governorate was 2,422, comprising both male and female teachers, while the study sample consisted of 365 teachers who were selected through a random sampling method. The results of the study indicated that the degree to which secondary school principals in Irbid Governorate practiced their tasks in light of Islamic administrative thought was high. The findings revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of school principals' practice of their tasks according to Islamic management thought based on the variables of gender and experience. The researchers recommend continued adherence to Islamic administrative thought among principals in general, by studying the causes and factors that enhance the level of practice of this thought and its application.
