Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of psychological security among Syrian refugee students in Ajloun Governorate schools from their perspective and to examine the impact of variables such as gender, educational stage, and type of school on their perceptions of psychological security. A descriptive survey method was used, and a questionnaire was distributed randomly to 425 Syrian refugee students to collect the necessary data. The results indicated that the psychological security level of the study sample was high overall and in all domains. The study also revealed significant differences at the α = 0.05 level in participants' perceptions of psychological security based on gender, with females reporting higher levels. However, no significant differences were found in relation to educational stage or type of school. Based on the study's findings, the researchers provided several recommendations, the most important of which are: reassuring students about their academic future and encouraging them to engage with others in various situations.
