Abstract
This study examines Al-Sanoubari’s use of color in his poems and its aesthetic and semantic functions. It analyzes color concepts and terminology through analytical, descriptive, and statistical methods. The study finds that Al-Sanoubari used colors extensively, transforming his poetry into vivid imagery akin to a painter’s palette. The most frequently used colors are white, red, green, yellow, black, and blue.
